Film is a collaborative medium, and no matter how introverted you may be, you need people to help you make your film. The best way to find crew for your film is to consistently volunteer to crew on other student’s films.
Making time to help others is something we should value as Christians, but it is also an important professional skill. Filmmaking is a relational business–relationships are how you find a job, so start making those relationships now.
If you are a freshman or a transfer, it might seem challenging at first to find those opportunities. To start, talk to the MediaHub team about current productions–they will have all the info. And, as always, talk to your professors!
