Student Host Audrey Norton sits down with senior Esmeralda Jarquin who is set to graduate in May 2024. Her story begins during COVID when she first began her freshmen year as a pre-nursing major. Coincidently, it was during her sophomore year when she found herself in student leadership and met some influential seniors who were all communication majors. As a first generation college student, she had never heard of all the incredible things you could do with a communication degree since she was only familiar with STEM studies. Although she applied for nursing school, she decided to look into communication with a concentration in tech and emerging media instead and the rest is history.
